Craftsmanship

Stonemasonry has a history which dates back thousands of years to the Great Wall of China, Taj Mahal, and the Egyptian pyramids. Despite what my team of landscapers and stonemasons might tell you, I didn’t help build those. But, I have spent over 30 years laying drives and pathways, building walls, and landscaping gardens in stone.

Traditional and modern

We use traditional materials and techniques, so every garden landscaping and stonemasonry project is unique. We’re also comfortable using modern materials and methods, and our experience helps us seamlessly blend the two. Sustainability is important to us, so where possible, we use native materials sourced from local suppliers across North Wales.

Cut, prepare, and build

My team and I are skilled garden landscapers and stonemasons. We prepare stone using methods which have been used for centuries, cutting and shaping it to fit the build perfectly. We judge each stone before putting it in place. We have an eye for detail, and I pride myself on the quality of our craft.

Awards and recognition

I’m happy people recognise our craftsmanship too. We’ve won two RHS medals. One gold medal—and the best in show in Cardiff—and a bronze medal at Tatton Park. But, I’m always more pleased when a client is proud of the work we craft for them.
